Pro Tips

Now that you've been introduced to the software and tried out creating lists, sharing tasks, and completing work in Otuvy Frontline, here are some tips and tricks to take your usage to the next level.

Teamwork in Frontline

When working on a team, it's important to collaborate. Sometimes the team member who has been assigned a task is out sick, or maybe another team member works faster than others. To collaborate on a list with all the members of your team, you can share the list with everyone and then assign specific tasks to the person primarily responsible for completing that task. As needs arise, others can add photos, notes, and even mark the other tasks in the same list as completed. For a how-to on sharing the list with others, see Lists Overview in Otuvy Frontline Mobile and Manage Tasks in Otuvy Frontline Mobile
Remember, to easily access your team during sharing and assigning lists and tasks, you can pin your team mates so they stay at the top of your share/assign directories.

Use the Mobile App from your Laptop

Want to use the Otuvy Frontline Mobile App on your laptop? This could be an easier way to set up long lists. Copying and pasting the list from excel/word/the web may be easier for you when using a computer than on a touch screen device. Head over to https://otuvyfrontline.com in order to log into the mobile app and use the web interface to get all your setup done. Later log in on the Otuvy Frontline Mobile App from the app store for your day-to-day use.

Keep a Template

You can keep a template of commonly used lists in your account and copy it out as needed. Make changes to the list to customize it to your needs, then share the list and assign the tasks as required. You can also keep it in word or excel so you can copy and paste it if you want to keep your lists clean in Otuvy Frontline Mobile

Example List Templates

Here is an example of a list you can copy and paste into Otuvy Frontline Mobile. The bullets below are the tasks in the list which need completing. Simply create a new list, name it, then copy and paste the tasks into Otuvy Frontline Mobile to have a fresh instance of one of this list.
Your lists may vary in size and scope. This example shows how to create a large list by copy and paste.
