What Is Service Provider Configuration?

Service Provider Configuration is the Admin page in Otuvy QM. It is the central hub for configuring your account at a system-wide level. You get there by clicking the Admin tab in the main navigation.

Additional admin options are available by hovering over the Admin tab rather than clicking it: SP Info, SP Organization, View Catchall, Announcements, and Billing.

Job Configuration

Item Description
Services Manage the services used in inspections and job templates
Service Categories Organize services into categories
Areas Define areas used in job templates
Frequencies Set up frequency options used in job templates
Functions Define function types used in job templates
Tracking Items Create and manage tracking items tied to services
Job Templates Build reusable job templates for service locations
Custom Rating Templates Configure custom rating scales for inspections
Inspection Template Types Define types used to organize inspection templates
Mobile Survey Templates Create templates for anonymous mobile QR code surveys
Sublocation Service Assignment (SSA) Templates Build templates for assigning services to sublocations
"At A Glance" Color Summary Configure the color-coded summary display
Report Writer Build and manage custom reports

Scheduling Configuration

Item Description
Scheduled Items Manage items used in job schedule events
Service Groups Group services together for scheduling purposes

Work Order Configuration

Item Description
AutoResponse Message Set up automatic replies sent when a work order is received
Auto Archive Message Settings Configure the number of days after creation before a work order is automatically archived
Message Types Create and manage work order message type labels
Filing Types Define tags that can be added to a work order, visible on the web only and not reportable
Priorities Set up priority levels for work orders
Custom Work Order Status Create custom status labels for the work order workflow
Mass Email Send bulk emails to contacts or employees
External Email Settings Configure how external emails interact with work orders
Custom External Emails Set up custom external email rules
External Email Date Rules Define date-based rules for external email handling
External Email Exclusions Manage exclusions for external email processing
Notification Branding Customize the branding on outgoing email notifications
Work Order ID Pattern Define the format used for work order ID numbers
Last Updated By Settings Configure how the last updated by field is tracked

Language Configuration

Predefined Language Text Options Set up predefined text choices for work order fields

Organization Configuration

Item Description
Contact Types Define the types used to categorize contact records
Phone Types Set up phone type labels for contact and employee records
Address Types Define address type labels
Email Types Set up email type labels
Positions Create and manage position types for employees and contacts
Module Permission Templates Build permission templates to assign to users
Notification Templates Create reusable notification settings for users

Custom Question Templates Build custom question sets for inspections, surveys, and records
Sublocation Templates Create templates for sublocations and sections
Manage Upload Files Upload and manage files used across the account
Import Import data into the system
Secondary Service Providers Set up additional "Doing Business As" identities on the account

Admin Tab Hover Options

In addition to the Service Provider Configuration page, hovering over the Admin tab gives you direct access to:

  • SP Info: System-wide account settings including address, branding, time zone, inspection settings, and work order generation rules
  • SP Organization: View and manage the SP Organization Chart
  • View Catchall: Review external emails that were caught before routing
  • Announcements: View recent system announcements
  • Billing: Access billing information for the account
