Navigating the Otuvy QM v2 Mobile App

The new Otuvy QM v2 mobile app is built around a permanent bottom navigation bar and a quick-access menu, so your team can move between inspections, work orders, reports, and settings without hunting for hidden buttons.

The Bottom Navigation Bar

At the bottom of the app, you will always see four main navigation buttons (left to right):

  • Home (house icon): Your home screen, which includes recent Work Orders, plus quick access to Inspections and Reports.
  • Work Orders (envelope icon): Your Work Order inbox and message threads.
  • Inspections (clipboard icon): Your inspection-ready Service Location list.
  • Menu (hamburger icon): Quick tools and account options.

Tip: If you do not see this bottom navigation layout, you may be using the original Otuvy QM app. Please install Otuvy QM v2 to access the latest features and support.

The Menu Icon (Hamburger)

Tap the hamburger menu in the bottom navigation to open quick tools and account options.

Menu options include:

  • Dark Mode
  • Notification Settings
  • Sync Details (view upload and sync activity)
  • Submit Feedback
  • Logout
  • App Version (you can view your current version number here)

If you are troubleshooting uploads or want to confirm whether anything is pending, Sync Details is the place to check first.

What Each Section Is Used For

Home

Use Home when you want to:

  • Get a quick snapshot of what needs attention today
  • Jump into recent Work Orders
  • Access Inspections and Reports from one place

Work Orders

Use Work Orders when you want to:

  • Review assigned work orders
  • Open a work order to download its full details while connected
  • Reply quickly and keep communication moving
  • Create a new Work Order (when your permissions allow)
  • Add internal notes to an existing Work Order (for team-only communication)
  • Create an internal Work Order for internal tracking or follow-up (when your workflow uses internal-only Work Orders)

Note: Work order details and attachments download on demand when you open the work order while online.

Inspections

Use Inspections when you want to:

  • View your list of Service Locations available for inspection
  • Switch between the three list segments:
  • Downloaded
  • Not Downloaded
  • Favorites
  • Mark a Service Location as a Favorite so it stays at the top of your list

Use Menu when you want to:

  • Turn Dark Mode on or off
  • Adjust Notification Settings
  • Open Sync Details
  • Submit Feedback
  • Logout
  • Check your app version number

Quick How-To: Checking Sync Status (When Needed)

  1. Tap the menu icon in the bottom-right corner
  2. Tap Sync Details
  3. Review the summary and any listed Service Locations
  4. If needed, tap Sync and Refresh to manually trigger a refresh
